Martinelli Road Chardonnay 2004

Growing Year Info

This was a warm, even growing season at the end of a three-year drought. There were milder temperatures and an early, short harvest. This is one of the preferable growing seasons for farmers; they can let nature take its course without a lot of extra canopy management to balance out an uneven growing season.

Tasting Notes

The 2004 Martinelli Road Chardonnay has wonderful aromas of dried apple and caramelized hazelnuts. Concentrated flavors of candied fruit, golden delicious apples, caramel, and Meyer lemon followed with a hint of mandarin orange.
