Chico’s Hill Syrah 2011

Growing Year Info

This was one of the coolest growing years on record in the last 30 years, especially during the month of June. Due to the cool weather, harvest was later than usual. These wines will age well, and show more structure due to the increased acidity from the cooler growing season.

Tasting Notes

The 2011 Chico’s Hill Syrah has aromas of licorice, flint, black cherry, smoke, violets and forest floor. The palate of firm black fruits will reward a few years of patience. Decant 60 – 90 minutes. Drink 2016 – 2026.
