Inky ruby. Explosively perfumed aromas of boysenberry, blueberry, candied violet and incense, plus a suave undercurrent of vanilla and cola. Broad, palate-staining dark berry liqueur flavors are enlivened by tangy minerals and complicated by smoked meat, violet and black olive nuances. Gains energy on the finish, which is sweet, spicy and seemingly endless. This wine's energy suggests that it will reward patience.
